Dare to dream

This is a film I made last week. Two weeks ago I didn't know it was going to exist. But then we decided to get together a bunch of enthusiastic campaigners who want to change the world, to put them in front of a camera and to send their message out into cyberspace to see if anyone would listen. And they did. 2,500 people have watched this film in the last two days. I tweeted yesterday that this was the top video on Twitter in the morning. I have to correct myself though having done a little research: this was a top video that appeared if you searched for #IF on Twitter, not quite so impressive a statistic but still exciting to me! (This may still be the case, I haven't checked.)

If you don't know about #IF yet then I would ask you if you've been shut in a cupboard for the last 48 hours but that might be unfair. I have been surrounded by everything #IF related for the last week and so I have a warped sense of what is normal. However if you don't know, this campaign is the biggest UK anti-poverty campaign since Make Poverty History and it is all centred around the G8 which is hosted in the UK this year. We are calling on the most powerful countries in the world to tackle the issues which cause millions to die of hunger every year.

Watch this video, sign up to be involved at www.tearfund.org/enoughfoodif  and dare to dream that this campaign could radically change the situation of hunger in the world today.
